La Ribelle
Our co-founder Ellen Marie Blakstad Paus is educated at the Norwegian National Academy of the Arts and is working as a graphical print maker. Ellen Marie and William are both passionate about Art and Culture and have built a small art collection. The latest project on Tenuta Elmata is the acquisition of the fantastic sculpture La Ribelle, created by the Norwegian artist Anita Hanch-Hansen. The sculpture is a tribute to strong women around the world, standing up against unfair treatment and established conventions restricting their opportunities. Obviously the art work is the symbol of our White Wine, La Ribelle. Over time we hope to create the La Ribelle Foundation and focus on supporting strong girls and women.

E.M Blakstad Paus
EM Blakstad Paus is a printmaker and visual artist. As a printmaker she varies between both intaglio and relief techniques in addition to production of Artist’s books. The interest in paper leads to exploration in producing handmade paper from different kind of materials and fibres.
The works often revolve around the theme of communication, identity and belonging. Traces of the hand are repeated as a central element.
At a crossroad in life, Blakstad Paus embarked on a new education. She is educated at Asker Art school (Kunstfagskole) and Oslo National Academy of Arts and is based in Oslo/Bærum and Stockholm.
